Every Sunday, we gather together as Christians to encourage one another, fellowship, worship God, pray, and learn from and respond to His Word. We gather to thank God for the salvation we have through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday begins at 9:30am with classes where we learn about God’s Word and its application to our lives. We then find our seats and prepare our hearts for our morning worship service at 10:30am. In this service, we sing several songs, hear Scripture read, offer prayers to God, listen to a sermon, and every other week celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We conclude our time of worship at 12:00pm.
Sunday Nights at ECC consist of a variety of events, services, and times of fellowship aimed at experiencing life together and on mission in our community. For more information, click here.
We sing songs that exalt the triune God, declaring who He is and what He has done. We emphasize helping our congregation sing praise to God so that the Word of Christ will dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16). Our musical style is contemporary, singing mostly hymns and modern worship songs that are rich in biblical doctrine. Check out our Spotify playlist.
We strongly believe in the sufficiency, authority, inerrancy, and infallibility of Scripture. We affirm that it is “breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Therefore each week the sermon is founded upon biblical truths that will challenge and encourage us to grow in the grace and knowledge of God; we preach “Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2). We are committed to the faithful exposition of the Scriptures, preaching through both passages and books in order to declare “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). For 2017, our sermon series is the Gospel of Luke.
Each week, there is time to worship God through the giving of offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any obligation to give! This is an act of worship for our church members, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives and to help support the gospel ministry of ECC. You may also give online through our website or through the Tithe.ly mobile app.
We offer age-appropriate Sunday School classes for children, students, and adults beginning at 9:30am. The entire church then gathers together for a time of corporate worship, with children up to 5th grade being dismissed to Kid’s Church part way through the service. We also provide a secure check-in service for children attending Sunday School and Kid’s Church. At ECC, we are committed to equipping parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children and helping families grow in the knowledge of God and his gospel of grace. Your children will learn about the character of our glorious God, the life-changing truths of the gospel, and the importance of the Word and prayer.
