For those unable to attend our church’s worship gatherings on the Lord’s Day, we have made a live stream of our services available on our YouTube channel. While this live stream is available to all, we consider this a ministry primarily for the members of our own local congregation who are unable to come together for corporate worship on a given week.
This resource, as well as our sermon podcasts, are not by any means a replacement for the physical, in-person, weekly gathering of God’s people. We believe Scripture teaches that this assembly is essential to what a church is and does (cf. Matt 18:17, 20; Acts 2:42; 20:7; 1 Cor. 5:4; 11:18; 14:23; 16:2; Heb. 10:24-25). In our individualistic and digital age—where spirituality is considered private and worship services are “experiences” to be passively enjoyed by the consumer—we pray that these resources are used to serve the sick and shut-in, or as a supplement to one’s own personal commitment to another local church.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Heb. 10:24-25).
